blame on me - akon

tonight my culinary class put on a parent dinner at paths. it turned out really well. we had 18 parents show up, which was a lot more than chef anticipated. he didn't think anyone would want to come. but we definitely proved him wrong. =] we served swiss steak with a beef sauce or chicken with a marsala demi-glace (pronounced demi-gloss.. fyi) both with roasted garlic mashed potatoes and green beans. then for dessert we had peanut butter mousse pie or cheesecake. i had peanut butter mousse pie... i've been waiting all week to have some, and it was SO good. yum yum yum. for dinner i had the chicken with the beef sauce over it. i do not recommend mixing chicken and beef. it makes for a disgusting combination. trust me. the highlight of the night was when i finally was able to snap caesar with my towel. and i definitely got him good. =]

so i just spent the last 85 minutes talking with allison on the phonee.
before hand we had talked for awhile... and now we're talking again.
we have such grand lives. =D

tomorrow im so excited for psych.
it's byob day.
everyone's supposed to bring
in a bowl and a box of cereal,
so that way we can have a
cereal party!
its going to be absolutely amazing.
and i cant wait.
it's the only reason i'm even
going to school tomorrow.
if we werent going to have the part,
i would have opted to stay home and sleep
until it was time for conferences.


allison - just so you know i have no pants on.


so i have a realllly busy schedule tomorrow.
i have school tomorrow till 8:20
then im going to paths to talk to talk to chef about my menu until 10:30
then im picking mom, kaylynn, and chelsea up at church from moms group.
then we have parent teacher conferences till 12:30
then we rush home so i can bring them home and pick up kaylynn
and then i bring her to the orthodontist.
after that i drop her off at home
and go to work until closing.
