so today we had the cafe open at paths, because thursday and friday we only have half days. (wahoo!). adam, tom and myself manned the front, which was fun. i really enjoy working with them both. except for the fact that adam hates the front ahah. oh well. he lived through it.
chef and i talked about my internship that i'm going to be doing at the eastland hotel in downtown portland, and him and i are hopefully going to be visiting tomorrow. we'll be taking a tour and talking with the manager as well as the head chef. im hoping that the visit goes well, and that they are nice people... often people who work in restraunts/hotels are absolutely crazy, and not pleasant to be around. so hopefully this'll be a good experience because i want to be able to work there this summer and get a good 3/4 months of working there before i head to j&w.
yesterday morning when i got up, i saw that my hermit crab had come out of his shell, so later on i went to the kennel shop and got a new shell for him as well as this really cute dish for his water..(it basically takes up his entire cage thing, but whatever.) the only problem is that he hasnt moved since yesterday morning... i hope he's not dead, but you never can really tell with crabs, because they tend not to move alot. harumph.
after i got out of work tonight, i brought my bottles back to shaws. there was a heck of alot of bottlesssss. i got $8.65 from them. =]
